The seniors are out this coming Sunday in the championship, they face
Kilkerrin/Clonberne at 5pm in Tuam, whilst the minors open their championship
campaign next Wednesday the 25th of June against Renvyle at Oughterard with a
7pm throw in.
The U10s are playing in the city league semi final this coming Saturday at 2.30
at westside.
Congrats are extended to the Barna/Na Forbhacha community games football team
who qualified for the Galway community games finals last Saturday. The team comprises
of players from the clubs U9s panel. In their opening match they defeated
Loughrea whilst in the semifinal they beat Tuam after two sets of extra time.
The final will be played on the 29th of June.
Barna U11 football squad had an excellent win away against Salthill Knocknacarra
on Sunday morning in the City League. In a hard fought and close
game Barna eventually prevailed by the scoreline of 2:10 to 2:2. Best for Barna
were Neil Kilbane, Mark McDermott, Fionn Malone, Oisin O’Flatharta and Damien
Roche. Training continues on Saturday mornings at 10:15 at Barna pitch. The next
City League match is against St James at Barna next Sunday at 11:00
