Barna GAA celebrated La Na gClub last weekend, the event was a celebration of 125 years of founding of the GAA. In the true sense of community the club had a joint celebration with the Barna Furbo Hurling club. On the Saturday evening their was a well attended disco at the Connemara Coast hotel, whilst on the Sunday the days activities were started with Mass at Barna Church after Mass their was a funday for the younger members of the club, all those who attended enjoyed the day especially with the glorious sunshine.
Well done to the members from both club committees who were involved in organising the event, Fr John and the pastoral team for the mass and the Furbo Pitch committee for having the pitch in fine condition.
