The seniors are playing Moycullen this coming Sunday at 1:15 in the opening round of the Galway Senior Football championship. The match is part of a triple header which takes place in Pearse Stadium.
The club would like to wish senior player Aodhfin Grehan all the best in his trip to Australia, the club would also like to extend its congratulations to James Keane and all the panel and management of the victorious Galway U21 team.
The Barna U12 girls played against Caherlistrane on Thursday evening in perfect conditions. Both teams took time to settle with the away team first on the score sheet but this was shortlived as the home team settled and found the net twice in a short space of time to take a comfortable lead into half time and one that they would never relinquish for the whole game. Both teams played some lovely football in a fair game in a manner that hopefully will be repeated in the games to come. All the Barna girls played their part to secure the win and have now two wins from three in their league campaign.
Barna GAA Club members are assisting the St.Vincents De Paul with their bag pack in Dunnes Stores Knocknacarra this Saturday starting at 10 am. If you want to help for 2 hours please show up.
