The seniors continued on their winning ways when they defeated Moycullen last Friday night in round four of the Galway Senior League. The final score was Moycullen 0-6, Barna 0-15.
The Juniors are playing S,t Michaels this Sunday at 12 noon in Spiddal in the third round of Junior A Championship.
Well done to the Barna U13s who last Friday defeated St Michaels in the Roinn A City league shield final.
Last Saturday Bearna under 8 and under 10 Gaelic football panels took part in a Stay and Play blitz in Moycullen. Bearna fielded two teams in the under 10 section against teams from Maigh Cuilinn,Killanin and Leitir Mór. Bearna fielded three teams in the under 8 se ction. Our next blitz will take place in Killanin on the 25th of June. Saturday next the Bearna/Na Forbacha Community Games under 9 1/2 team will compete in Moycullen at 11.00am. Training continues Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings for the under 7’s and under 8’s. Training for under 9’s and under 10’s continues on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evening.
