The Galway Races may be over but racing enthusiasts have another event to look forward to: Camel racing in the local pub!
The fun Camel Racing event will be held in Donnelly’s of Barna on August 16 at 8pm sharp.
All proceeds from the event, which is being organised by Eilish Conneely and Seán Connor, goes to the Niall Mellon Township Trust.
It costs €10 to buy a camel, and €2 to bet on each race. There will be six camels per race.
