It is a busy week for Barna GAA with four teams in championship action.
The club’s senior team’s preliminary quarter-final clash with NUI Galway will be played in Moycullen this Sunday at 6.45pm. The winners play the winners of Tuam Stars versus Caherlistrane. Michéal Breathnach and Salthill/Knocknacarra face off at the same venue at 5pm.
The club’s Junior A team plays city side St James’ this Saturday at 6.30pm in the second round of championship at a venue yet to be confirmed. Check the club’s Facebook page for venue.
On Wednesday, in an eagerly awaited local derby, our minors face neighbours Salthill/Knocknacarra on Wednesday, August 27 at 6.30pm at An Spidéal in the Minor A semi-final.
Well done to our U16s who recorded a fantastic one point win in the championship Tuesday evening. The final score was Bearna 2-8 Moycullen 1-10.
