LETS KICK-BALL FOR RONAN  – BARNA GAA PEILEATHON

Ronan is a 5 year old local boy who in April 2015 was diagnosed with a brain tumor, DIPG. Ronan is a nephew of pitch committee member Patrick Faherty and cousin of Barna Ladies Senior player Caoimhe Faherty.  On that day in April 2015, Ronan was given 2-3 weeks to live. There is no effective treatment and there is 0% chance of survival. Only 10% of children survive 2 years and less than 1% survive for 5 years. The average survival time is 9 months and 25 months on from diagnosis, young Ronan is battling the odds, making memories for himself and his family. Each memory is so precious for his family. Ronan’s Hope is a fund to ensure that he and his family can continue to make memories.

Barna GAA are hosting a PEILEATHON on June 10th in Furbo pitch from 2.30 – 6 pm with both girls and boys at all levels kicking ball for RONAN’s HOPE.
