Barna GAA’s senior footballers recorded a priceless championship win at the weekend, which secures the club’s senior status for another year.
Barna will play senior championship again in 2016 after their hard-fought win over Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the relegation semi-final on Saturday.
In a five-goal thriller, Barna were too strong and emerged on the right side of a 3-12 to 2-6 result. The committee of the club would like to congratulate the players and team management for their hard work throughout the championship campaign.
The team are in league action this Sunday in Furbo at 4pm when they take on Oughterard in Division 2 of the league.
