Well done to two clubmen, Ian Kent and Mark McDermott who were selected to play on the Galway City/West under 16 squad that travelled to Tipperary on Saturday to take part in a tournament involving Tipperary, Kildare and North Galway. The Tedd Webb squad will be finalised in a few weeks.
Hard luck to Jason Lyons who featured for Galway in the Connacht semi-final earlier today. Galway lost on a score line of 2-11 to Mayo’s 5-8, after extra time.
Don’t forget Jason and the club’s minor team will be in action this coming Wednesday for the Minor A replay against Spiddal July 3 at 7.30pm in Moycullen. All support would be welcome.
