The club extends its deepest sympathies to the Grealis family on the death of Eddie. Eddie was an integral part of the club’s committee, a team coach and former player. The club will be doing a guard of honour for Eddie on Friday morning, meeting at The Twelve at 9am.

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Grealis of Furrymelia West, Barna, Galway
and Dooniver, Achill, Co. Mayo; dearly beloved husband of Siobhán, much loved father of James, Michael, Katie and Edward, son of Kathleen and brother of Loretto, Breda, Kathleen, James and Alice. Deeply mourned by his wife and children, his mother, bother and sisters, Uncles and Aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and many friends.
Removal on Friday 8th July to the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna to arrive for Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Bunnacurry Church, Achill. Prayer Service at 3 p.m. approximately. Interment to follow in the local cemetery. House Private on Friday morning. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cancer Care West.
