As we enter 2011 Ireland is facing considerable economic difficulties. Forecasts are changing on almost a daily basis but most predict that prospects over the next 5 years are challenging. The return to emigration on a large scale could have significant impact on clubs and communities. Now more than ever we in Galway GAA need to believe in ourselves and be reminded about what we can achieve when we put our minds to it.
We are proud of our Association and the positive impact it has in our communities. It delivers tremendous satisfaction to all of us whether we are playing our games, or supporting our activities as volunteers. We need to focus on the values that bind us together, that make us unique and that will retain and attract more players, members, volunteers and supporters
