The Barna U16s topped off their amazing year with yet another outstanding display against Corofin in Tuam Stadium. As the fans enjoyed an Indian Summer, they were also treated to some great football from the Barna players.
The Barna U16’s have put in some fine performances this year, notably the City and County League final against Corofin and their second half come back against Salthill last week in the Championship semifinal. There is no doubting that the game today was the biggest game of their lives, and a big performances was necessary. The fact that Barna got great performances out of every players is reflected in the impressive score.
At this point in the season, it is appropriate that the club pay tribute to everyone involved with the U16 panel and the management team.
We look forward to seeing this fine group of players taking to the field again next year.
